reflejada hoy en la actividad actual del ICATMAR, con gran focalizaci\u00f3n en los procesos de cogesti\u00f3n y la colaboraci\u00f3n con el sector proyecto, que combinaba la ciencia con la divulgaci\u00f3n y la promoci\u00f3n de la cultura mar\u00edtima, se vio interrumpido por la Guerra Civil espa\u00f1ola. Recuperada la democracia y con la aprobaci\u00f3n de la Constituci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola y el Estatuto de Autonom\u00eda de Catalu\u00f1a, se da la situaci\u00f3n propicia para la recuperaci\u00f3n de la iniciativa. Con la publicaci\u00f3n del Real Decreto 1964\/1982, de 30 de julio, sobre el traspaso de Servicios del Estado a la Generalitat de Catalunya en materia de servicios de investigaci\u00f3n oceanogr\u00e1fica, Catalu\u00f1a asume las funciones en investigaci\u00f3n oceanogr\u00e1fica que, adem\u00e1s de posibilitar la ordenaci\u00f3n, la planificaci\u00f3n, el fomento de la investigaci\u00f3n y la ejecuci\u00f3n de los correspondientes programas de investigaci\u00f3n, posibilita la creaci\u00f3n de centros de investigaci\u00f3n en materia de oceanograf\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Han tenido que pasar treinta y cinco a\u00f1os para poder dar al proyecto oceanogr\u00e1fico catal\u00e1n el empuje definitivo.
